I made an effort this week to take more photos with my DSLR — not necessarily as part of a photo shoot. If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you know I like to do little “series” of photos — Rosen with a book, Rosen with her stuffed animals, etc. But the majority of photos I capture throughout the day are on my phone. I’ve been wanting to get more of those small moments with my nice camera, even though my phone is so much more handy for those unplanned shots. So, I tried to make sure my camera was within reach all week. Here are some of the results:
Rosen has a cute little window seat in her room and loves sitting on it while playing with her toys. It was raining outside, so I pulled the blinds up so she could watch the rain, too.
I even took a “selfie.” Too bad I only think to do it on days when I don’t wash my hair.
Ro loves playing in her crib, with all her stuffed animals piled inside. Then she pretends to sleep…in the most comfortable positions.
Shoes don’t stay on her feet for very long these days.
On Wednesday, we went to my sister’s house for our weekly “Girls Day.” Rosen loved cuddling with her Aunt Sarah.
Rosen and my mom AKA “Gram” playing with blocks on Girls Day.
Getting cozy with her Great Gramma.

She is too cute! I love that one of her in the crib with all her animals! Too funny!
Thank you, Elena!
How fun that you have a girls’ day every week! So awesome that Rosen is able to enjoy her grandmother and great grandma!
My grandmother is living, but is in the late stages of alzheimer’s disease. It’s very sad, but she does love my girls.
We are very blessed to get to spend so much time with family! Sorry to hear about your grandmother, Lauren
.
These photos make me happy. Especially the ones with Rosen and her Great Gramma. Such a blessing to be able to share those moments together.
Love all the pics, even your “selfie”, beautiful as always!
Thanks so much, BFF!!

These photos are all so cute! Some of my favorite photos of Jackson are just basically pictures I took of him in the everyday setting (eating lunch, playing, taking a bath).
