This past week Rosen turned 19 months old!
- Rosen’s has added so many new words to her vocabulary this past month. I won’t try to list them all, but a few of her most frequently used new words are “kick,” “truck,” “cookie,” “cake,” “yeah,” and “milk.” She also loves counting, but has only made it to two so far.
- We had her 18-month checkup at the doctor a few weeks late, so it was only a couple of weeks ago. We learned that she is 26 pounds (72nd percentile), and 34 3/4 inches tall (99th percentile), so she is very tall for her age!
- She’s become even more helpful around the house. Her current favorite chore is unloading the dishwasher. It actually is a really big help because I don’t have to bend over to get stuff. She just hands me everything one by one, and I put the stuff away. It does make me a little nervous seeing her handle dishes, but we haven’t had any accidents yet.
- She now has a comfort object. I find it a little strange that she hasn’t been attached to a blanket or stuffed animal or any other object until now, but her stuffed Winnie the Pooh has become her constant companion lately. She has to have him in bed at night and at nap time, but thankfully doesn’t always need him by her side during the day.
And here are a few outtakes from our photo shoot that were just too cute to delete…
